IKEA

I Decided to visit the IKEA store on my way home from work today. I was in complete heaven. I could sit in there for hours if I had the time. Just stepping in the building brought back 1000 memories into my mind and my heart of my 2+ years in Sweden. Needless to say, I had a lovely dinner of Swedish Meatballs and lingon sylt. I NEED TO GO BACK TO SWEDEN ASAP!!!!! I think my 2 favorite places on Earth are the temple and IKEA.... And in the interest of full disclosure, IKEA comes in a very very close 2nd place.

I love to see the temple. Today I took a walk around the Mt. Timp Temple after work. Even thought it was a dreary and cloudy day, the temple was just a beautiful as always. So nice to have it so near by. I saw this temple from its ground breaking to its dedication and I'm grateful to have a view of it from my front yard!!!

Power in His Touch

Hi all- I recently had a really great opportunity over the last several weeks to participate in the musical production called "Power in His Touch". This is a Christ centered musical written and composed by Colette Call. I was graciously invited to participate and it was a very pleasant surpirse. I met some incredible people and made some great new friends. In all my years performing, I have never worked with such a talented and able cast. The message of the show was very powerful and I gained a confidence and a strength as a performer that I had never experienced before. Thanks to all who helped make this experience so meaningful for me.
